New Interferometric Technologies for Astrophysics
(show/hide)

I review some advances in interferometric hardware relating to astrophysical remote sensing which also has application in medical imaging. I will summarize the way in which these applications improve the quality of interferometric devices, and discuss the new capabilities offered by the next generation of sensing/imaging hardware. I will restrict the presentation to optical/RF imaging and spectroscopy.
